Jamie Ward, Owner Dance Instructor

Jamie has been dancing for over 35 years and has been choreographing for over 15 years.  Jamie started her love of performance at a very early age and it never left her.  Jamie has a BS Degree in Music Education from Hartwick College as a Voice Major, and an MA Degree in Music Education from Marywood University.  Jamie has a strong passion for performance both in music and dance.

Jamie currently is a music educator at Sullivan County Boces, where she teaches all special education students K-12.  She has learned through teaching there how to individualize instruction.  This skill has carried over into her dance teaching.  Jamie Knows how to push her students to be the best they can be.

Jamie's philosophy for dance and music education is that all learners should have the opportunity to perform and enjoy being on stage.  Through dance and music, students gain more than a pretty tutu or a triple pirouette; they gain self-confidence and perseverance.  Miss Jamie prides herself in using age appropriate music and putting her students in age appropriate costumes.
